Tuesdays & Thursdays, Aug. 29 thru Oct. 5.

Students, 2nd thru 5th grades, will be taught the fundamentals of football and have the opportunity to play different positions.  Registration required. Follow link in ATHLETICS

Soaring Readers is an 8-week reading program designed to encourage students to read for pleasure. The current program begins Sept. 11th & ends Nov. 3rd.  Students who reach their individual & class reading goals are honored during chapel. “Reading is a passport to countless adventures.” -Mary Pope Osborne

Spirit Week is Sept. 11 – 15.  Students and staff can “dress-up” according to each day’s theme to show their school spirit.

Tuesday, Sept. 5th is Picture Day for both Elementary & Preschool; Thurs. 10/12 is a  Make-up Day for those who were absent. Watch for ordering info in Friday Folders.

Class shirts are a great way to encourage a feeling of unity & pride in the classroom community. Shirts will be worn on field trips & other days in the year (i.e., during Spirit Week (9/11-15). Friday, Aug. 25th @ 6:00-7:30 pm  ~Bring chairs and blankets to sit on the grass after being served yummy ice cream. Kids can play on the playground while parents & staff get to know one another.

Our first day of school is Thursday, August 17th. We’ve missed you and can’t wait to have all our students on campus everyday!!  See you then!

We are looking forward to seeing you at Back-to-School Night on August 16th @ 6:00 pm. Meet your child’s teacher and see what wonderful activities and experiences are in store this year. Bring school supplies & check out the Uniform Exchange table.  Parents only please.

Bring new or gently used uniforms and/or class shirts that no longer fit your growing children on Tue, Aug. 15th between 11:00 – 1:00 pm & exchange them for items that will fit for the new year.  Items should be laundered and ready for continued wear in a new home. Items will also be available during Back-to-School Night.

Join Mrs. Singleton on Thursday, August 10th @ 6:00 pm to learn about all aspects of CCS including the wonderful happenings and experiences you and your children can look forward to while at Crossroads. This is a great time to get questions answered about our school community and meet other new families.
