Once again, the school gate opens at 2:40pm for the 2:50/3pm pick up times. 
Please either park in a parking spot outside of the gate, or along the street. 
We need the driveway clear for emergency vehicles.  Thank you for your cooperation!  

Way to Go 5th Graders!



Our 5th graders did an amazing job kicking the school year off at our Welcome Back Chapel!  It's always heart-warming to see the enthusiasm of the children as they sing and dance to worship Jesus! 
The teachers and staff were also very silly and made the children laugh while demonstrating
the school rules.  It was a fun time for all.

Picture Day is Tuesday, September 5th!
fPicture day is happening when we return back to school next week.

Spirit Week is Coming Up!

This year's Spirit Week is September 11th- September 15th.  Here are the themes:

Monday (9/11): Red, White and Blue Day (Show your love for America) 

Tuesday (9/12): Hero Day (Real, like police officers, firefighters, military, etc 
or Super, like Batman, Iron Man, Spiderman, etc!) 


Wednesday (9/13): Time Travel Day (Dress in your favorite decade!) 


Thursday (9/14): Silly Hat and Socks Day   


Friday (9/15): Class Colors Day

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place September 18th - 22nd. 
This is a fun week, not made possible without the help of our wonderful volunteers!

Clothes and Shoes...


Just a couple of tidbits regarding clothing.

*If you haven't obtained one already, please order your child their class t-shirt from the Eagle Wear link on our website http://crossroadschristianschool.org Class shirts are worn on field trips, spirit day and for the Mini-Olympics, so they will get some good use!  

*Light blue polo shirts are not part of our school uniform, so please just stick to
red, white and navy blue.

*If your daughter wears a uniform dress romper to school, please remember to have them wear a red, white or navy blue polo shirt underneath.  

*Please be sure the shoes your child wears to school fit well and are good
for running and climbing.

It's Not Too Late to Register for Flag Football!



Flag Football runs every Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 29 through Oct. 5, 3:15pm-4:20pm. 
Students will be taught the fundamentals of football by Coach Haney and have the opportunity to play different positions.  Please see the front office to sign up. 
The cost is $120 per child and is for 2nd - 5th graders. 
(Cost will rise to $145 on Wednesday, September 6th.)
