Welcome Back Chapel is Tomorrow!

Please join us as we have our first chapel of the school year on August 25th! 
Chapel runs from 8:55am to 9:30am.  As always, everyone is welcome to attend! 
It will definitely give you a great start to your day!

Ice Cream Social is Tomorrow at 6pm!



Come out and get to know other families and teachers a little better at our (free)
Ice Cream Social at 6pm!  It will take place on the grass near the playground. 
It's a fun, kick-back evening for all!

Spirit Week is Coming Up!

This year's Spirit Week is September 11th- September 15th.  Here are the themes:

Monday (9/11): Red, White and Blue Day (Show your love for America) 

Tuesday (9/10): Hero Day (real, like police officers, firefighters, military, etc 
or Super, like Batman, Iron Man, Spiderman, etc!) 


Wednesday (9/12): Time Travel Day (Dress in your favorite decade!) 


Thursday (9/13): Silly Hat and Socks Day   


Friday (9/14): Class Colors Day

Just a couple of tidbits regarding clothing.

*If you haven't obtained one already, please order your child their class t-shirt from the Eagle Wear link on our website http://crossroadschristianschool.org Class shirts are worn on field trips, spirit day and for the Mini-Olympics, so they will get some good use!  

*If your daughter wears a uniform dress romper to school, please remember to have them wear a red, white or navy blue polo shirt underneath.

Are You Ready for Some (Flag) Football?!



Coach Haney is back to teach Flag Football! 
Flag Football runs every Tuesday and Thursday, Aug. 29 through Oct. 5, 3:15pm-4:20pm. 
Students will be taught the fundamentals of football and have the opportunity to play different positions.  Please see the front office to sign up. 
The cost is $120 per child and is for 2nd - 5th graders.
 

Parking Lot Safety



We just wanted to review a few reminders about parking lot safety.  

* The school gate opens at 2:40pm for school pick-up. 
Please DO NOT LINE UP at the gate before the gate opens. 
We need to keep the driveway clear for emergency vehicles.  Please find a parking space outside of the gate, or park along the street, if you arrive before 2:40pm.

* Please drive s-l-o-w through the parking lot, no more than 5 mph.  We have many children and pedestrians walking around and want to ensure the safety of everyone.
