Games on the Green!

We will be holding Games on the Green (formerly known as Family Game Night) on Friday, April 8th from 5:30-7:00. We will have awesome games set up on the field and will be passing out some fun prizes.

A little something salty, a little something sweet, stop by and get a treat! 
Our 5th grade class will be selling snacks to raise funds for Hume Lake Science Camp. Please come support our campers!


 



Iowa Testing Coming Soon!

April 11th-14th will be Iowa testing week. Please make sure your student gets lots of rest, hydration and nutritious meals during this time so they have the tools they need to do their best! We also ask that your students are present and punctual as we will begin first thing in the morning.

Cheerleading!!!!

(2nd Grade & up)

We are happy to announce we will be having a cheerleading program that will coincide with our last flag football event. It will begin the week of April 11th and run through the week of May 16. Our coaches are 2 Varsity cheerleaders from Valley Christian School who will be overseen by Mr. Haney. Please turn in your application by April 8th. Please also fill out the Medical Release form if this is the first athletic event your child is participating in.

 



Flag Football!!!!

One more round of flag football!! The first round was lots of fun; students learned football tactics and how to be a team player. Please turn in your application by April 8th. Please also fill out Medical Release form if this is the first athletic event your child is participating in.

Mrs. Avalos's last day in the front office will be Friday, April 8th. As many of you know, she is expecting a beautiful little boy on May 12th and will be preparing at home for her new little bundle of joy. We will miss her greatly at CCS. She has done a wonderful job and has been a great help to all. Please send her off with blessings and well wishings.

We have a great replacement lined up for Mrs. Avalos. Ms. Contino will be our new office administrator. She has two daughters here at CCS, Ciella in fifth grade and Haven in kindergarten. She has been training for the last two weeks and is ready to go. Please give her a warm CCS welcome.

Ice cream Fridays!!!
 
Each ice cream is $1.00. Please have your student bring $1.00 on these days as they can not use their lunch account money.

                                          **Elementary School Only**

Hot lunches are available to Elementary students who have money on account or bring cash.
Monday—choices are bean/cheese burrito, cheese quesadilla, or chicken tamale with water.
Wednesday—Erik’s Deli Kid’s Meal 1/2 Sandwich, choices are Turkey, Roast Beef or Tuna with water and choice of chips. We have an option of ordering a full sandwich (same choices as above), no chips with the full sandwich, due to the cost.
Friday—choices are cheese pizza or pepperoni pizza with water.
