Pre-K go to Uesugi Farms Pumpkin Patch
January 23, 2012 in News
The Pre-K’ers had so much fun on their field trip to Uesugi Farms pumpkin patch. They learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin from the time pumpkin seeds are planted until the pumpkins are harvested. They had fun counting the golden pumpkins that they saw while on their train ride. They learned about bees and pollination as they walked through the corn maze. At the conclusion of their tour, they each got to pick out a souvenir pumpkin to take home with them.
